Holding is what the logs add up to: everything an address received minus everything it sent. That is the same arithmetic the token contract does, so it matches the balance the contract would report — no third party is asked. Contracts that sit on the market side (the pool manager, the launchpad router) are ranked separately below, because they hold inventory, not a position.

One bar per 600 blocks — about a minute on a chain that produces ten a second. The spike at the left is the launch; everything after it is the market deciding what the thing is worth.

Every one of these was checked with eth_getCode before it was excluded: an address with deployed code that moves a large share of the supply is a pool or a router, not a holder. Nothing is excluded by a hardcoded list.
